Publisher's Summary

Ty Wilcox is in for a rough day. He wants nothing more than the chance to recover from the aftereffects of a power-enhancing drug he had taken, but life has other plans. Superpowered villains are flexing their muscles with horrific results, and Ty has no choice.

There are lives at risk, and it’s up to him to save them.

But if he wants to defeat the main villain for good, he has to figure out what the villain is planning, and his only source of information is a man in a coma.

He knows what he has to do. He just doesn’t know if he can.

Warning and minor spoilers: Like the other books in the series, Enhancer 4 is an 18 plus book intended for mature listeners. It contains sex, violence, and nudity, but it’s all very tastefully done. It includes very light gamelit elements, occasional bad language, and is set in a cyberpunk alternate future. Most of all, you will find an engaging superhero adventure story with a few unexpected twists.

The Enhancer series was written to entertain. If you’re looking for a fun listen, you’ve come to the right place.

Excellent Narration... Character Development

"I was given this free review copy audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this review."

I’ve enjoyed the first three Enhancer books so much, and was excited to listen to this story. First off, it’s different... I felt like the focus here was character development, which I appreciated. I also feel as though the author wanted to set the story up for something beyond one off action sequences, which gives me a lot of hope for the next installment. Yes... there’s a major cliff hanger, which to be honest doesn’t bother me, except knowing I’ll have to wait for resolution. Writing was excellent, and characters were better explained so that I could relate to them.

Narration by Chris was excellent as always. Any book he’s involved with goes straight on my wish list, as he brings so much to these projects. He seems to be a real fan of the genre, and brings a quality of enthusiasm that I really appreciate.

Too short

The story and characters draw you in. Wyatt has a new and loyal fan. The only downside is that the stories are too short😎

Continues to entertain

Ty and his friends continue to try and stop all of the master's plans while trying to live day to day. Ty takes a new drug to try and increase his power while combating the Master's minions wreaking havoc. The narration is as solid as ever, and Chris Graves does a good job with all of the characters. I wish he would delve deeper into his technopath abilities and plan further ahead than what is immediately in front of him but it is a light episodic entry and should please fans of the prior three books. A solid entry that is building up Ty and his crew before venturing into the next big arc.

I was given a free review copy audiobook at my request by the narrator and have voluntarily left this review.

Many Interesting Characters, Bit of a Placeholder

The Enhancer is an interesting series, moreso than I originally expected. I appreciate characters with their own quirks and that seem to give off a feeling of autonomy. Certainly this series has them. I will admit to still having some frustration with the MC continuing to realize something is probably important to share yet deciding to put off sharing it with his partners. This wasn't as notable as in the previous book, so I am hopeful as more volumes are out. This particular book in the series doesn't advance the overall story much though. In fact, I think the book covers about a day in the world's timeline. It is still a nice visit with our superheroines though. :)

Narration is very well done, as expected by Chris Graves. I have listened to several of Chris's titles and have never been disappointed. I think his style is especially well suited for this genre. Give him a listen. Just don't start here, start this series with book 1 and enjoy Chris telling the tale, especially with Angie in book 1.

I received this audiobook for free in exchange for my honest and unbiased review.

Good book

I received this book for free at my request in exchange for an unbiased review

I haven't read the first three, but after getting this book I will need to, This book was excellent and I am not entirely sure about some of the backstory but the dialogue and character development was quite good. I was definitely impressed enough to pick up the rest of the series when I can.

The narrator is also great, I have listened to a few books he has done and he never disappoints

Better than the last one

This one really had some great progress and good admissions and revelations by some key players. The story was great and I look forward to the next one.

Absolutely amazing!

Loved this addition to the story! So much fun to listen to! With the amounts of action, suspense, humor, and lovely ladies, how can you go wrong!

I can’t wait for the next one, that cliffhanger was crucial!!

Well thought out Sci/Fi

Story opens well with excellent narration that is clear and accomplished with excellent vocal pressure. The author has caused each situation to flow into the next scene in a very smooth way.
I recommend this audiobook for ages 17 and older due to some adult situations.
I was given this audiobook for free and I freely give my rating and opinion

Who wants to be a super hero?

Tempest's father, the Architect, has been found but is in a desperate and deteriorating state. Ty had taken another drug to try to level up and gained a new skill without her being able to control it. But certain of the Master's creature had also greatly increased their powers and were wreaking havoc in different areas of the city in terrible ways: it is up to Ty and Lilith to take them down. And they found out that the situation was even worse than they had thought.

This is an easy read episode of the Enhancer series which really needs to be read in order, from book one to understand the characters. That said, it would be possible to pick up the majority of the story with this book. There is the usual ratio of battling action as with most LitRPG books, but is different in that this also has interaction with the little people the bed is try to protect. There is nudity and a little sex, all conducted with 'the best possible taste.' Narration by Chris Graves is crisp and well suited to the text.

My thanks to the rights holder of Enhancer 4, who, at my request, freely gifted me with a complimentary copy via Audiobook Boom. This is a quick, light, easy read, recommended to fans of comic books and super heroes. But start with volume one.

Consistent

I've really enjoyed this series so far as the author continues to build on his original idea, only really gripe I have with this one is that feels like filler to me.
