Wow - what an awesome ride!

I picked this one up for a road trip and found myself staying in my car so I could keep listening.

This series follows an experienced hunter who ends up traveling to a new world which happens to be filled with all sorts of magical creatures, most of which are beautiful monster girls.

I loved the different personalities of each of the women, especially the cow girl, Chloe. She runs the tavern and just has one of those bartender personalities that makes you want to keep coming back.

Logan has his share of adventures throughout the series, saving women, bonding with them, and learning how to cultivate spirit to become stronger.

There are a few big baddies, ultimately leading up to a big showdown at the end. I think there’s a little something for everyone in this one.

The end wrapped it up nicely as well, so I felt good about it and really hope there is some way for the series to continue.

The narrators did a great job and kept me engaged the entire way through.

Could have been so much more there was so much potential just wasn’t a home run focus was put in the dumbest places and problems that needed to be solved but never got answered

Fantastic

Series that only got better with each book.
I enjoyed the world that the author built with a ton of fun characters.

It is definitely for adults, but the steamy scenes did not take away from the interesting plot. In most cases they actually added to the story since the main character earns new skills or grows stronger with each one.

The action was great and many of the things people complained about in book one (too lenient or whatever) isn’t an issue later in the series.

I loved how all the women were able to stand on their own, and were each strong in their own areas, but complemented the main character well.

Definitely glad I gave this one a chance.

I got pretty annoyed

The books annoyed me quite a bit with how the same problem would keep happening repeatedly.

Ladies kidnapped, gets them back, kidnapped again, gets them back again, kidnapped, gets back, over and over and over.

it got incredibly annoying becaise I figured the MC would learn from his mistakes, but that isnt the case.

The story is otherwise an interesting one, the world building is pretty good and the narrators did a fantastic job bringing it to life. If you can put up with the same problem being reused repeatedly, you can probably enjoy these books. I can't, so it was just incredibly aggravating for me.
