Publisher's summary

End of Days is the explosive conclusion to Susan Ee's bestselling Penryn & the End of Days trilogy. After a daring escape from the angels, Penryn and Raffe are on the run. They're both desperate to find a doctor who can reverse the twisted changes inflicted by the angels on Raffe and Penryn's sister. As they set off in search of answers, a startling revelation about Raffe's past unleashes dark forces that threaten them all.

When the angels release an apocalyptic nightmare onto humans, both sides are set on a path toward war. As unlikely alliances form and strategies shift, who will emerge victorious? Forced to pick sides in the fight for control of the earthly realm, Raffe and Penryn must choose: Their own kind, or each other?

I like the Trilogy.

Most folks I know would call this "Tween Porn" 😏
And in a very real way they would be correct, however I like the stories in the way they twist and turn outrageously!
My favorite character is the lead female's Mother😂😂😂😂😂 That woman is something else!
If you're a person who reads a lot of heavy psychological, si-fi, historical fiction, horror, or non-fiction like I do and want something "light" for entertainment sake only this would be something like that. This is one of my first real critiques (but I've been a customer for years) so please let me know if this review helps you "Constant Readers"

Upper YA story

I couldn't stop listening to this series until it was done! It's exciting and full of action! There is some cussing in this third book which wasn't present in the first two.

I wish the author could write a spin off story with our characters and what must surely follow. I'm just not ready to say goodbye to dee and dum! They totally made the series, outside our two main characters.

Angels With Attitude!!!

This fantasy was very YA and something I would not normally enjoy so much BUT the world building was vivid and I was immediately sucked in and stayed up till 2 am last night reading... that was untill I passed out and got smacked in the face by my iPad! BUT I was not deterred and switched to the Audibook version which I also enjoyed - mostly because the narrator (Caitlin Davies) actually sounded like a 17 year old!

The witty banter and and the fast-paced plot kept me captivated throughout - but what was unique to me was actually reading a book about Angels instead of watching their story in a movie (City of Angels, Constantine and Legion) or TV (Angel and Castiel)!

On to book 2.

This series is nuts.

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

Yes. I loved this series! Overall, the Peryn and End of Days series is a thrilling and imaginative ride, and I was engrossed from the very first page (no lie!). Susan Ee created a world that’s strikingly compelling and experiencing it through Penryn’s POV was an addiction I wasn’t even trying to quit. I have a suspicion that Susan Ee is more than a little insane, but I love her twisted mind!

Any additional comments?

End of Days was a satisfying conclusion for me. I wonder, though, if hardcore fantasy and paranormal lovers would be satisfied with the ending. I say this because it was a relatively short installment for all the loose ends that needed tying up. I felt the back story was a little weak, but I was invested enough in the two protagonists and seeing their story play out, that I didn’t need perfect world building. End of Days was an exhilarating ride and I loved seeing all the captivating characters in full bloom.

Fans of action-packed, emotional, humorous, thrilling, twisted, manic reads will love this series. I can honestly say that there was never a moment when I was bored, even during the times I was frustrated with the emotional progress between Penryn and Raffe’s relationship. I’d recommend this series to PNR lovers who’ve enjoyed Jennifer L. Armentrout or Karen Marie Moning. Susan Ee has grabbed my attention, and I am now a fan. I can’t wait to see what her crazy, creative mind cooks up next.

No spoilers

Great story—very well written, the characters really come to life! Only negative is it’s written a little young ( but not annoyingly so—lead character pokes fun at herself for being a teenager). Outstanding narrator—will definitely seek out her works!

Perfect ending to an amazing Series.

I have to say I may play these ones a few more times. Every good book deserves a second read right? Susan Ee definitely got this series right and the narration was perfectly executed.

Loved it!

This book was the perfect mix of humor, horror, and romance. Fell in love with Raffe the archangel myself. The narrator did a great job bringing the story to life.

Good story. great ending

Is there anything you would change about this book?

I am not a fan of the narrator. She does a great job with the characters and performing but to me her voice is like a constant whine. It gets easier to handle when you get going in the book.

What did you like best about this story?

The ending was a great end for the series.

What did you like about the performance? What did you dislike?

I dislike her voice, but I like the characters and acting she brings to her performance.

Do you think End of Days needs a follow-up book? Why or why not?

I think the book is completely concluded. I think another book would be overkill.

Any additional comments?

Great book, easy read. Worth the money.

Good

I love this narrator, she does such a wonderful job. The story over all is good. This is the first series I have read by Susan Ee, it makes me want to read anything else she has written.
