Story
The emperor has spoken, and the portals are opening. The Event is larger than anyone anticipated with Emerilia’s people needing to band together to survive. The creatures of nightmares and children’s stories might roam Emerilia, but this isn’t their land - it isn’t their home. The Terra Alliance will use everything at their disposal to gain strength and push back the forces that roam Emerilia. The Pantheon moves in the shadows, the forests, and across Markolm. Light, Earth, and dark’s forces only grow as they recruit those from The Event into their ranks.

Publisher's Summary
Pandora’s box has been opened. The Pantheon of Emerilia has gone through tremendous changes the event of Myths and Legends suppressed.
Warships now move in the stars, made of soul-gem constructs, built by mages and engineers, crewed by those who lived on Emerilia or within Earth’s simulation. The Deq’ual system stands with Emerilia, their brothers and sisters, and their family and fellow human descendants. The Jukal Empire will not let Emerilia rise peacefully.
As empires grow, so, too, can they be toppled. Only one can remain; in their biggest gamble yet, they must pass through the fires of war, empire against empire.

Good ending to the series
I really enjoyed this series, though the power creep became a little crazy at times and some battles a little tedious, overall it was very good and enjoyable. Not to mention that it is actually complete, and resolved. I initially was a little weary of this book, partly because I listened to it right after the previous book which tends to burn cause me to burn out on series for a while but it came to a satisfying conclusion and I enjoyed it. The bad: I didn't care for the battles, I felt I knew what was going to happen and just wanted to move the story along. That said, I tried to think of ways to write the book without them and I couldn't, plus some of these epic battles are the payoffs that people have been expecting for most of the series. So not my cup of tea but not terrible on a whole. This book probably could have been edited down a little but so could most books. The good: The resolutions, I feel were very good, everything got wrapped up nicely enough, the characters good a good send off without the author having to resort to hand waving away the problems. The very last bit really convinced me to write this review because I like it so much, that last paragraph or so (probably, I don't know, I listened to it). I don't know if I'll read more of Michael Chatfield, I have a lot I'm currently reading, but I won't rule it out. I'm glad I read Emerilia, I'm glad I met Dave and got to go along on this adventure with him and his friends. Thank you Michael Chatfield

Mixed feelings
I really struggled to like this book. On the one hand I was so happy to have a substantial series on audible in the litRPG genre that actually reached completion. On the other hand the difference in quality between the first book of this series and the last book of this series is dramatic. I can appreciate the author running out of energy or losing steam at the end of a large series but this book and to some extent the previous book as well felt very rushed and composed more out of a necessity to close the series rather than a desire to see story brought to its best completion.

I finished all 11
I enjoyed them to a degree. I like the author's books. This is the review I am writing for the series. As I have no wish to write 11 separate books. Overall they hover between 2 stars and 4. So, I will give them an average of 3. Solid listens, enjoyable weekend books. Audible's rating is: 1 Star is "not for me" 2 Stars "it is okay" 3 Stars "pretty good" 4 Stars "it's great" 5 Stars "I love it" How I see the stars. A one star book could be a very dry topic, story, crude or someone preaching down to the reader. I generally don't have 1 star books. I will just return them and go my own way. My last 3 were from the same series, I had hit a very dry spot in my listening. A 2 star story, would be something that was phoned in by a writer that typically has done much better work. I have a couple of reviews from authors that just seemed to phone it in, one most recently from an author that decided to mix current politics into his novel. If I wanted that, I would just watch the news. A 3 star review is where I really start. It means I enjoyed the book. That I did not have a hard time following it (I have lost alot of my conversational hearing). That the story kept to a plot, the characters were not static, and the world built was plausable. A 4 star review is something that I really enjoyed. It puts the author on my map to keep an eye out for. I go through 12-15 books a month. (audible is my primary source of entertainment. ) I will search for the author's works regularly, and seek out their stories for future purchases. A 5 star review, These are not as rare as one would think. These are the books where the characters grow, learn, act according to their nature. Where the world is not only plausible but believable. Where there are economic systems, businesses, rules of law that make sense. Where the story is woven is progressed and told with caring and dedication. These are books, series, authors and narrators that bring it all in a package. So, when reading my reviews, if anyone does, that is how I judge the books.

A Great Adventure
This book series over all was just amazing, it was amazing to read and hear all their progress and see what problems they had to face. This book series had become the highlight of my day and I just couldn't stop. I wake up listening to it as I get ready for work and all throughout the day and when I get home I find my place and read along to it. This has become one of my favourite book series and I'm glad I started it. Thank you for writing this because from begging to end all of it was amazing and will probs listen to it again.
