Publisher's summary

The apocalypse has reawakened—and it wants blood.

The Echo devoured our world, then slept for months. But now its convulsions threaten to destroy the safe little community I and my fellow survivors have built in an untouched wilderness. I can't let that happen. Maybe it's the cop in me or the Army veteran in me, but I need to take action.

By going inside the parallel world known as the Echo. A hell full of ravenous beasts.

I can't do it alone, though. And the only person I'll risk taking with me is Erin Harding, a former Marine who's also a loose cannon. The fact that I'm attracted to her only makes our mission more dangerous. Because I can barely restrain my lust for Erin. But I will never let her know that.

To save Earth, we must penetrate the heart of the Echo and somehow seize control of it. Piece of cake. It's not like we have no idea how to do that.

Yeah, we're all screwed.

Echo Dominion is the second book in the Echo Power Trilogy of dark, steamy paranormal romances.

Very imaginative!

While I did not love this one it still is a good story. I just had a hard time connecting to the characters. The amorous times between them seemed too sudden especially with his repeated comments about his wife and son. I almost felt I needed and they needed to get to know each other more before “that” happens.

The actual story is brilliant! It is the second in the series and incorporates two different characters. I do like both characters as they were presented and the trip they go on is very imaginative. The author does a wonderful job creating this world. I could easily picture Everything in my head

I did listen to this on audio. Connor Crais and Lucy Rivers are the narrators. They both do amazing jobs bring these characters to life.

Loving this series!

I normally am not a dystopian/apocalypse listener, but when Anna Durand writes it, I know I am going to love it. Weaving a romance into the tragedy, giving it some suspense, and amazing characters, and I am a happy listener. This is book two in the series, and it tells us Grant and Erin's story. These two are at each other's throats in the beginning, but when they figure out a plan to find Grant's brother's journal inside the echo, things really take a turn. Durand takes us on an incredibly visual journey as we meet dangerous characters and see an alternate world. Once they get in, will these two be able to return? Will they only have each other? Excitement, twists and turns, trying to figure out who to trust and loving the budding relationship of Grant and Erin had me enthralled and on edge. I love this book and can't wait to hear the conclusion!

Lucy Rivers and Connor Crais are our storytellers, and what a performance they give. These two are amongst my favorites, so I knew I was going to enjoy the story. Durand's characters just add new dimensions to their versatility. Both come up with incredible voices for the unusual, keep their voices consistent and making the book interesting and engaging. I especially love Crais's evil voice, who knew he had that in his repertoire? This listen is one you have to grab and just sit back and enjoy!

Dark, Steamy, Dystopian Paranormal Romance

This is the second book in the Echo Power Trilogy, a dark, steamy dystopian paranormal romance. The story continues where the first book left off. The storyline is action packed, entertaining, and captivating. Connor Crais and Lucy Rivers did a great job with the narration. Looking forward to listening to Echo Unbound, the last book in the series.

Thrilling Ride!

Once again Anna has pulled me in with her paranormal romances and enjoyed learning more about this world throughout this book. I loved Grant and Erin, they both have had trauma from their pasts when the apocalypse start off not really liking each other. Grant takes issue with the her go get attitude and thinks she’s reckless. They have to work together to find out why the apocalypse restarted. I love the banter between these two and how they learn to trust each other the more they work together. They had great chemistry and the spicy scenes will leave you fanning yourself.

Lucy Rivers and Connor Crais did a great job with the narration. Connor really brought out Grant’s grump and vulnerable sides and Lucy was great at portraying Erin’s strengths and flirty sides. They both worked well and I enjoyed the narration and story. Another great story from Anna and I’m looking forward to the conclusion of this trilogy.

Exciting romantic fantasy suspense!

I’ve been waiting to see what happens next in this exciting fantasy romance world! Echo picks up with life after the apocalypse with Grant and Erin’s story. This ticks all of my paranormal, action, suspense, romance boxes with plenty of steamy romance with the added enemies/adversaries who don’t get along find love in the midst of chaotic & life-threatening circumstances. What a ride! Connor & Lucy were excellent choices for these characters. I agree with others that Connor’s creepy horned dude voice was spot on as well. I’m really looking forward to the rest of the story!

I loved Grant & Erin!!

I loved grumpy Grant and badas$ Erin! They gave each other such a hard time. It always cracked me up. Erin definitely did stuff to get on his nerves purposely. Of course Grant is so obsessed with thinking he has to fix things and he's not even taking care of himself at one point. All kinds of stuff goes down in the Echo that leaves even more questions but I can't wait to see what happens next.
Lucy Rivers and Connor Crais were perfect for Erin and Grant! I mean, that creepy voice that Connor used for that weirdo weeping horn dude was freaky.

great banter between MCs in this 2nd installment!

Book 2 in the Echo series has Erin and Grant , both former military, working together to find a way to close the tears appearing in the sky after 6 months of quiet post apocalypse.

Narrated by Connor Crais and Lucy Rivers who do a fantastic job voicing alpha-hole, Grant and button pusher, Erin.

Highly enjoyable listen with some comic relief in the form of the banter between these two characters.

Thrilling

What a thrill ride! It's all action and surprises. Grant and Erin have to save this new version of the world, but they only have their instincts to go on. So why do their instincts keep pushing them toward one another?
The narrators of the audiobook did a fantastic job of finding the comedy in this dark world and keeping the chemistry between the characters going through everything. I really enjoyed that.
