This story was engaging and incredible with memorable and lovable characters. I found myself forgetting that it was narrated because this guy is so good at making different characters with his voice. what a team this author and narrator make. I'll be waiting now for the next in the series.

PS why can't the song of ice and fire series have this narrator?? lol

The concept of this book is new to me. It's not the adventurers that are the center of this book, but the dungeon. This book details the birth and evolution of a living dungeon with a very interesting developments that take pieces from rpg type tropes and Chinese type power systems. Dakota krout hit his stride with this book. I couldn't stop listening to it. If I were reading it on paper I would have had some late nights and a huge lack of sleep. There are twists and turns the entire way through. Vikas Adams again did a stellar narrating of it as well. I'll be looking for more books narrated by him for sure since the next book on this series isn't out yet. Can't wait for the third book in the series!!!!!!
