The constant judgement and justification of certain actions was genuinely tiresome. The book was way too focused on the morals of everything rather than just telling the dang story. This is a fantasy story. Except for books that are specifically for children, you’re gonna end peoples lives. Probably a lot.

Also for a first book I’m a bit disappointed with the lack of establishing the “why” of the events that took place against the dragons. This “mission of revenge for your bloodline but also because if you don’t they’ll find you and end your life because of what you are anyway” plot made it really hard to invest myself into this story.

Basically this first book has set a very lofty and far off goal with a very flimsy foundation of purpose and drive.

I don’t see this ball making it over the fence, so to speak.

I really enjoyed this book. It definitely falls into the category of OP MC. I feel like the system and class stole the show. I really liked seeing how things advanced and evolved. The plot was good and entertaining. The narrator did a good job too.

Good concept

While I liked the first half the second half really pissed me off. First the chracter let's others dicatate what he does through threats. Where if he ignored it and showed it didn't work it would have saved more people overall.

Then there are skills first every 5 levels then every 10. Yet by the end he isnt even selecting new skills and overlooking it. I kept yelling to myself for the last 3 hours, PICK YOUR NEW SKILLS!! He has a huge goal but doesnt even once think to pick his skills? Its not like he needs someones input. It was so stupid. Not sure if the author was too lazy to think up new skills or just forgot that he got to the 10 level skill choice but by the end it's been nearly 20 levels since his last skills.

Good but annoying

Really good story and entertaining too, I just found it somewhat cringe every time the MC shouted his skills name. but im looking forward to the next one
