STILL IN PROCESS OF LISTENING TO IT, BUT.....

How did the narrator detract from the book?

DID NOT LIKE THE NARRTOR, DID NOT PUT ENOUGH INTO THE CHARACTERS OR EVEN THE STORY...HE IS BORING!THIS GUY IS SO BORING I DON'T EVEN WANT TO LISTEN TO HIM, LITERALLY PUTS ME TO SLEEP;ALMOST MONOTONE, LIKE HE ISN'T EVEN ENJOYING THE STORY!

WHY DO THE AUTHORS CHANGE THE NARRATOR IN THEIR SERIES...DICK HILL DID AN EXECELENT NARRATING JOB AND HAD EXCITEMENT IN HIS VOICE...AUTHOR MADE A HUGH MISTAKE BY CHANGING HIS NARRATOR....LEE CHILD, KEEP THE SAME NARRATOR IN YOUR SERIES, DICK HILL WAS EXTREMELY GOOD AT ADDING EXCITEMENT TO THE STORY LINE, HE KNOWS THE CHARACTERS AND MAKE THEM COME ALIVE

Great book

I love the jack Reacher series. although I wish once or twice he would be able to have a happy ending with the love story. All of the adventures that he has are great his traveling from one place to another is Carefree and seems like a nice kind of approach to life for a short period of time. I hope eventually though he finds a place to settle down and find happiness where he is. I will never stop reading these books. I can't get enough of the adventures he goeson . the Mysteries are great the writing it's wonderful the characters never fell to tug at your heart.

True to the character of Jack Reacher...

I enjoyed this book. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars was that it was not exceptional. Jack Reacher is a character that I got to know in the first book, Killing Floor. I bought this one right after I read the first. I probably should have gone back to another series first, then purchase the book. It is definitely its own story. The backround from the first book was not as important as I thought it should have been. If you aren't familiar with Jack, go ahead and buy this. I'm sure I will buy more in the future. But I need a little break from the Reacher series.

But I really like the style of Lee Child. His writing is very compelling and wants you to read more and more.

Worse narrator in recent memory

I can always make it through a Reacher book. But this narrator has got to go.

great 2nd act

I enjoyed this story. It took awhile to adjust to the narrator but I ended up thinking he did a good job. I am looking forward to the next Reacher story.
