I enjoyed the story. Good read for young adults. The story was just complex enough to keep my attention. Lots of action, very little romance.

Overall good read

I was given this free review copy audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this review.

TLDR; It's the third book, you're either sold or your not, and I'm sold.

It's hard to write a meaningful review for a book after the first one or two in a series. You're really just preaching to the choir. If you've enjoyed the series up to this point I fully expect you'll enjoy this one. The mech battles are fun, the time travel gets resolved, for the most part, everyone gets a happy ending. Grab this if you enjoyed the last two, you won't regret it.

A nice finish to a fun series

Due to the way this trilogy was written, a lot of this book actually happens before book two. If book two was "here we are now," then book three was "how we got here." I typically enjoy that style of storytelling, and it was done well in this book. I was also glad to see my favorite character from book two come back in this one, but my favorite addition was Mechs and Mech fighting. I love 100 story tall stompy death machines and this book used them well. The narration is great again with this book. The narrator did a great job with all of the characters voices, and overall, this was an enjoyable story and a good conclusion to the trilogy.

Action packed conclusion to the series with mechs!
