New Favorite

I think the casting was exceptional for these characters! The voices were amazing in portraying the characters more vividly in my head.
I also think that bringing psychology into this world really elevates the story and makes me so much more intrigued while listening.
This dark romance collides with a true crime feel and if you're into that, just like I am, you'd better believe you'd enjoy it too!
So stoked for the 2nd book!

Duet Narration

Savannah Thomas and Ash Beverly made such a great duo!

Savannah did an outstanding job as Geneva letting her emotions come through so strongly that we could feel the turmoil she is going through. She's a psychologist and is solely focused on her career but what happens when she finally meets her match in a psychopath, Ghost?

Ghost.... good lord this man. Ash was phenomenal playing the psychopath - he was always calm but intense with a dash of humor that had me giggling and blushing much more than I thought he would. You could FEEL how calculating and determined he was and towards the end you could absolutely feel the emotions he had towards Geneva.

Morgan did such a great job weaving this story and the audio just heightened the experience tenfold. I SHOULD HAVE KNOWN I was going to get slapped in the face with a cliffhanger when there were SO MANY questions but we were much too close to the end. MISSY HOW DARE YOU! And you're telling me I have to wait until JUNE to find out what happens next?? Bad girl. No good girl for you!

The description of The Joker meets PenPal is pretty accurate but I got more Criminal Minds vibes as well. If you like psychological stalker/inmate romances with light (but oh so good!) spice definitely check this one out!
