Loved this novella and the narrators were perfect!

Catherine Cowles never disappoints and this novella is such fun. Her EX is his brother so even though they are attracted to each other, Maia can’t see them together. Too messy she says. But Deck has always wanted her and she finds out just how much n Valentine’s Day at a party Maia reluctantly attends with her besties. And then? Maia, Deck, her EX and their best friends are stranded with a dead body at the Valentine’s Day party. And a murderer. Like I said, fun!

Witty, Humorous 2nd Chance

There was a lot packed into this novella. It was easily able to be completed in one sitting. I enjoyed the narration and stayed engaged in the story.

I had forgotten the murder mystery part until the body was discovered. I did figure out part of the mystery at that time, but the "who" in the whodunit came as a shock. No indication the culprit was even a possibility.

Fantastic story with love and suspense

Another winner from Catherine Cowles. I loved Maia and Deck. I loved the it’s always been you vibes and how neither of them lost time to give their feelings a chance. The dual performance from the narrators made the story even better. I loved it so much!
