Wow! I love this series. I normally always know where a storyline is going however I was very much surprised with this one. It was an awesome surprise. With theses authors, I should have known it would be exceptional!!!

Darkness Rises
I found a great story to read, or well listen to anyway. I do the audible, and I’m loving it, like a fat man at McDonald’s.
The story has kept in line with what I’ve come to expect, which is awesome.
We are getting magic and badassary while the authors have continued to keep the stupid out of the characters, a hard feat sometimes.
The performance is done in a way that gives you the feeling Rudd is living her words and might just be the narrator telling the kids the truth of the ages.
I’m happy, and I can’t wait to get into the next one.

Darkness Rises: The Rise of Magic, Book 6
The authors notes brought me right back to being an awkward teen falling in love with the Dragonlance series and living in that world for a while. I borrowed those books from a fellow awkward teen and had to give them back when after his home had burned down and he lost most of his things. I actually was, of course, happy those books got saved from the fire because I had borrowed them – but was sad to give them back. Fantasy books have always, since Dragonlance, been among my favorites to read. This installment didn’t disappoint. Hannah and her group are finally able to get to the home of the Oracle and have to fight beasts unlike anything they have ever seen before. I appreciate the deepening bonds with all the characters. This book was very good!

Superb series & intriguing world!
I don’t usually write reviews, and this one won’t be about what the story is about but rather how I’ve throughly enjoyed every book so far in this series. The characters are great! They are well balanced, and I found myself very attached to them right away. They have a down to earth realness about them & I don’t know how many times I’ve laughed out loud because of some smart ass joke Hanna has made, it’s awesome! The epic battles has you rooting for Ezekiel & Hanna + friends every time. Please keep this series coming, I’m enjoying it so much I’m looking into other areas of this awesome world . You can’t help, (once you get deeper into Hannas story )but be intrigued about the Bitch & Bastard, the founder, Lilith etc -who they were , what they believed was worth fighting for & against who .... I mean people... the back story on this world that was created goes on & on - so many series to explore w/all kinds of adventures. I’ve not seen a fantasy world with this many interconnected series and/or stories. I’m hooked 100% & hope all the writers keep serving up years of solid adventure, hilarious smart ass characters and epic magical fights. My thanks to you all!

Can’t Get Enough!!!
I just love this series and the authors are so talented. I truly look at Hanna as the Princess Bitch. I’m so looking forward to her powers growing and I’m so happy Gregory is finding his place. However Sal is still my favorite cause who doesn’t love Dragons 🐉. Highly recommend
