Joining us at Audible Studios is Dan Abnett, British comic book writer and novelist, who has contributed to series for Marvel, DC Comics and Games Workshop's Black Library.

Abnett is one of the Black Library's main authors and certainly one of their best sellers. Writing within the Warhammer 40,000 universe, Abnett has authored infamous series such as Horus Heresy, Gaunt's Ghosts and Eisenhorn.

Abnett has also written prolifically for Marvel and DC, as well as 2000 AD. His main titles are Aqua-Man, Judge Dredd Megazine, Guardians of the Galaxy, He-Man and Titans.

We spoke about Abnett's love of comics and graphic novels and his career writing some of the biggest names of superheroes and D&D, and what it was like to pick the characters for Guardians of the Galaxy.

Always enjoy hearing more and more about Dan's style and his work. I thoroughly enjoyed the interview, and just wish it was a little bit longer. 😆

Author Dan Abnett is always enjoyable! Whether he is taking fan questions at some forum or in an individual interview such as this, he is genuine personality and peek into a professional writer is life is never less than you would have liked.

As a Warhammer 40K fan, almost all of my favorite books were written by Dan. If you like Guardians of the Galaxy, thank Dan abnet. If you have enjoyed any number of other comics or novels, you may have Dan to thank.

The fact that the interviewer is a more general interviewer and does not get into too much minucia is really a benefit when interviewing and authors such as this who has crossed a number of different fictional universe's.

I am major warhammer dan. love the books. And a huge dan of Dan Abnett. And this was such fun to hear him talk about his creative style and methods. He sounds like a fun chap to sit down and chat with in my honest opinion.
