Factual but dull

This is dry but I did finish it and got some good information out of it for my upcoming licensure exam.

This book is amazing.

This book is amazing. As a student in a graduate program for counseling, it is definitely no substitute for the actual DSM-5, but it is incredibly helpful!

Could be organized better

The organization of content could be a lot better. Content somewhat long-winded at times, but overall pretty good.

Not helpful

If you are looking for something other than a poor recitation of DSM/ICD codes, this is not a good choice.

Not thorough

Did not give all chapters of the DSM-5, such as those chapters that cover somatic symptoms and disorders, gender dysphoria, and sexual dysfunction.
