Publisher's summary

Although I take my job very seriously—being the resident charmer, the man responsible for helping clients with security, all the while making it look like I’m the newest love interest of insanely gorgeous women—it looks like it’s all fun and games. I’m getting paid to go on dates to some of the most glamourous places all around the world after all, but at the end of the day, it’s still work.

When the assignment is over, I walk away—usually with a smile and another notch in my bedpost, but who am I to turn down the perks?

This new assignment should be no different. I can play any role handed to me. Hell, I love a new challenge. Only Archer Bremen is different...and not just for the obvious reasons.

His British accent hits me in a way I never expected. The scowl on his face makes me think of a million things I could do to make it fade. His smile tells me that this new assignment is going to change everything....

I'm not gonna cry, nope. No, no way!

Firstly Jacob Morgan and Teddy Hamilton are wonderful. Because of them you truly feel the characters emotions, their fear but also their passion. I have heard each of them narrate other stories and loved their individual performance but together wow!!

Marie James.... Damn you lol. I literally cried when Brooks made that comment after 7 blissful weeks. That raw emotion in Archer, I can relate. I too shutter my emotions like throwing up a wall to protect but more so to not appear weak and let a person know they got to me. But damn if you didn't had me back in that euphoria within two chapters.

I highly recommend this book, the M/M romance was so realistic between the two main characters. As far as I'm aware this was Marie James only gay relationship arch and it was beautifully done. I hope to see more LGBTQ characters from her as she obviously has the ability to relay/write from the feminine and masculine mindset well to not only do straight couplings but others too.

I cannot applaud this book enough, from a gay man. I thank you Marie James, Jacob Morgan and Teddy Hamilton.

Teddy & Jacob auto buy

Teddy Hamilton and Jacob Morgan separate or together in any mm Romance are an auto buy from me. (Honestly, if they were reading the phone book together it might be an auto-buy.) But, I would definitely say the preview written is misleading. Brooks is not the pursuer in this relationship & he isn't smitten because Archer has a scowl & he wants to make him smile.... Archer actually shows way more interest then you would think by reading the preview. It doesn't matter though if you'rea fan of these narratos. The story was unique to me and I enjoyed the characters and the narration was perfection. Both Teddy & Jacob have a way of charming you, making you just smile and giving you the feels without there being any sexy times (which there aren't any until about 4 hours in...) Regardless it was a 5 star performance of a low-angst 4 star story that I happily listened to in one sitting.

Stop looking at reviews! Read NOW!

Let’s pause for a second! WOW! Marie James has yet to disappoint! I love how all the book came together. Hints have been dropped and now we have all the puzzle pieces!
Add narration by Teddy Hamilton and Jacob Morgan. I seriously have no words! That accent! Seriously I have listen twice now and it was released yesterday!

Amazing!!!

I read everything that is narrated by Teddy and Jacob, so that’s a given. With that being said, I have to say this was a pleasant surprise. I like the little twist and turns before the characters got their HEA. First Marie novel but it won’t be the last.

My Thought on Crossing Borders

Marie James sure does know how to write a darn spicy MM romance. I was sad to see the Blackbridge series end, but it was done so well. I loved Brooks and Archer. The development of their relationship as the book progressed was so entertaining. I laughed and smiled and got heartbroken and emotional along with them. There were also these scenes that Brooks was brought up in previous books in the series that you knew were related to his assignment to Archer but didn’t know the full story of what was going on. It was so cool seeing those scenes from his or Archer’s actual point of view like the dog bite and the club. That little toss out in the end gave me a happy thrill though. Because now I know that while this series may have ended, there’s still hope of seeing the Blackbridge team in future Marie James books.

The narration on this was great. Both men did a fantastic job for all of the characters involved. They both had to do Archer's British accent, and the other guys when visiting the Blackbridge offices or other settings. In every situation they both gave such great performances. I have heard and loved them both on previous books but together they are absolute fire.

Awesome narration story fizzles

I did not enjoy this book. The narration was good but the storyline fell flat leaves tons of unanswered questions and the romance was on again off again. He’s a rock star but never works and his love interest(his bodyguard) does the worst job compromising his reputation never to answer for it. He tells his boss that he has lost them the contract twice and he doesn’t get fired? It was so unrealistic. I’m sorry I thought this book was poorly done. The only saving Grace was Hamilton and Morgan. Don’t think I’ll ever listen to this author again.

Brooks and Archer

This audible story for magnificent, one of her best. Not only the story is hot but having these two narrators telling the story make it steaming. The emphasis is always placed in just the right spots to bring all of the characters emotions to the surfaces and keep you listening to the best end!!
