Ali Spooner doesn’t write angst! She will put her characters in angsty situations but when it comes to romance she goes right to the soul of the matter and captures your attention. She writes romance like nobody’s business. Heidi Bindhammer (new narrator to me) brought Cole and company to life. One of my favorite Ali Spooner’s stories. Don’t miss out.

A great story about strong women who live and work in what is considered to be a man’s world. Women who have suffered greatly from the effects ef war and illness and arisen all the more victorious. Love I.

So glad to have on audible
A great easy listen. And if you’re a horse lover it’s even better. I love listening to books even those I’ve already read. The characters become alive and you can see the story unfold.
I really wish Back in the Saddle was in audible also!!

Loved It!
I had read this book when it first came out on kindle. I bought it when it first came out on Audible and loved it just as much if not more! Cole the strong and spiritual strong cowgirl, young and enthusiastic Gene, Marylee loving and strong standing by her love Cole. Stormy and Dell, and Melissa the mother of the MC2 family.
This was a book about strength of character and love, brother/sisterhood and all that goesAli will consider releasing the sequel in Audible with it!
The narrator was excellent! I enjoyed the story very much and do hope the sequel follows as well!

The story was good
Narration not so much. It was a little boring and didn’t give the “umph” to the book, I liked the story line and the MC and it is a shame that the narrator was not interested in the book….
