Just absolutely fabulous!

I have been a fan of this author since the beginning of this series back in 1999. I am so happy to finally be able to hear her characters Dar and Kerry come to life in audio format. Best day ever in discovering this author. It is a long book. Melissa does not write short chunk stories to milk you for every dine. she is a very detailed writer who makes you live in the momment with her characters. I cannot wait for the next in the series.

First of many

I have loved Melissa Good’s work from the very beginning! Gosh it’s been almost 25 years for her original stuff. I love this audio, as I could just sit back and watch the story behind my eyes. Can’t wait to get the rest of them.

Finally!

so, I've not finished the book yet, but this series is one of my absolute favorite. I love the relationship between Dar an Kery, and the books up til the rafting bok are just as good.

Loved this book so much

This book was so good. Great book and great reading. The only thing that I don't like is that only the first book has been recorded. I'm going to be hoping the rest will be recorded too because I loved every character in this book.

The characters are awesome.

What's not to like? I have read the book at least 15 times in the last 20 years. I have been hoping that it was recorded for audible. I hope the rest of the series is coming soon. I think the narrator did a magnificent recording.
