This story is full of so many life moments. Ali Spooner writes in a way that you feel those moments in your soul. Violet Dixon brought the characters to life so you could feel the dept of love shared. A young girl, Hunter, has a life altering moment that changes the life of her sister and collapsed her world. The courage to make amends and be open to the the second chances offered make this story priceless. Hard work, a heart will to let go of a hard past brings so much joy. The people like Carson who never stopped loving, Michelle who opened up so much more love and lots of people who bring support make this a grab your heart book. This one book I will listen to often- Thank you Ali Spooner and Violet Dixon.

A second chance can be for- forever.

While I loved the chance Hunter gets at becoming a WNBA player after serving time in prison, the story seemed trite. It’s obvious the author has a deep knowledge of basketball. That fact, is, perhaps, the best part of this book. The narration was poor. While she could be compelling in other fictional settings, the narration just didn’t seem to capture the essence of athletes; her voice left me wanting more out of each character.

Plenty of Potential
