Narrator is terrible

Her enunciation of every single syllable was so annoying, even at a faster clip. She reads like a robot that has recorded each word separately and then the book was strung together with those words. And she mispronounced
"exacerbate"! After 2 minutes I tapped out.

impossible to listen

I think I am going to read a hard copy instead. The narration is too robotic and it seems that the performer doesn't quite understand what she is reading, also the tone sounds patronising. I found it very hard to listen past that and focus on the actual content and didn't finish the book.
