Un libro interessante di un autore poco letto.
Ho trovato molto interessanti alcune descrizioni di stanze o paesaggi perché mi hanno fatto vedere con estrema chiarezza interni e panorami.
La storia, tutto sommato semplice, ma i personaggi la rendono viva ed avvincente
I personaggi vanno dal mangiapreti al santo, dalla vecchia nutrice alla marchesa che, pur essendo una santa donna, ha carattere e spessore, come anche il protagonista, con i suoi scatti, le sue idiosincrasie, rimorsi e terrori.
