Publisher's Summary

Our future. Noncitizens and individuals of low social standing can only find work in one place: the virtual world of Disgardium. And that might mean mining ore; it could just as well mean cleaning pigsties or washing dishes in a tavern, but that's about as glamorous as it gets.

Fifteen-year-old schoolboy Alex has dreams of working as a space guide. All he can think about is the stars, but life gets in the way, and now his only path to achieving that goal is through the game.

Always a pleasure!

I am so glad I took a chance with Sugralinov. His stories are so grounded in hyper-realism. I can feel like I can relate to what his protagonists are going through, the world they live in, the challenges they face. So when they are overcoming their challenges their solutions and reactions make sense to me. Not many authors have this talent, as a result other works come off a disconnected and artificial. I have yet to be disappointed with Sugralinov and can't recommend him enough if you are looking for a little maturity with your litrpg.

Simply Awesome!!!

Can’t wait for the next book... literally, I want to listen to the next book now.

Dan Sugralinov knows what he’s doing in this genre.

Outstanding

I listen to book upon boob upon book. Some books I enjoy some I do not. It has been a while since I found one that I enjoyed the narrator and the story so much. I look forward to the next ... soon I hope ..

a decent litrpg with a repulsive mc

The main character is a real piece of work. he's not evil or overboard, but he ditches friends and is mercenary with others feelings. he knows to feel bad at doing these actions, but is still casually cruel to the one friend he's had his whole life. she even tries to get into his new hobby, but he ditches her for basically nothing.

It's actions like these that make him unlikable, and made me drop the rating so much. A decent litrpg with a bad human being at it's front and center.

Almost

I'm sorry too say I almost quit this book.
it has a ruff start and as a gamer made me so mad I just about gave up on it.
But hang in there it becomes a decent story.

Satisfying

Sugralinov is an author I enjoy listening to. He is not a great writer. Or at least the translations are not on par with Melville or Twain. But there is something to his work that makes for an enjoyable story.
I have read sooo many lit-rpg stories. Not sure why I am addicted to them. Sugralinovs other series is more original, but Class A threat is good. Worth listening to only if you enjoy this genre.
