I love this story.!!!

Keep up the good work! The story is really interesting and inventive. Character progression is quite complex.

Good characters

I really enjoyed the book, but it just won't end. Just got to long, always close to dying but never dying.

A filler between two story peaks

I just finished this audiobook. I also finished the version in Russian a while ago. And yet I can hardly recall most of the events that took place in this book.

This part of the story feels like a filler between events: while there are scenes of important decisions being made and battles taking place, it all feels like a theatric play staged to entertain the crowds and take their attention away from the fact that there are (debatably, of course) no major events here. There's hardly any thought-through progression of the story, zero character development (as usual), and lots and lots of unnecessary stuff that only exists to fill the minimum number of pages to justify it being a fully fledged book in the series.

All in all, the author continues to be unrefined beginner (who, basically, ran out of ideas before writing this book), the quality of the language and the writing style of the translated work is better than the original (though not as good as the work of whoever translated the first book in the series), and the narrator's job is steady and generally good (other than a few moments here and there, including the grossly misinterpreted battle cry of the demon armies - that one is atrocious done and the guy should be ashamed of himself)

This series had a great mix of popcorn-like fun and action, but it’s getting way too convoluted and seems to always be just about to wrap up before just spinning out further and further. Maybe I’ll listen again if it ever ends
