Publisher's Summary

The gods walk among us. And they just might steal your soul...or your heart.

I thought I'd survived everything life could throw at me. All I wanted was to keep my distance from the criminals I work for and get my little brother out of the hell that is our mother's house.

Then I died and woke up to four stunningly hot gods telling me I'm now a valkyrie.

Sly, sharp Loki. Jovial but ferocious Thor. Dreamily compassionate Baldur. Grim and secretive Hod. They all have something to teach me. And around them, my walls start to crack.

But the gods didn't summon me just for kicks. Their king is missing, and they need me to find him. The first three valkyries they sent on the job never made it back.

More power is awakening in me than I could ever have imagined - and the gods' enemies are more devious than even they knew. It's going to take every trick in the book for me to save myself, my brother, and these divine men who're getting under my skin in the most alluring way.

I'm Aria Watson, and Valhalla ain't seen nothing yet.

Contains mature themes.

Enjoyable and great read

Read & listened to a few RH. This was a very good one. Not overly saturated with sex scenes or multiple partner sex scenes. MC heroine didn’t buy into the harem or changed life easily. She was still fighting for her independence & free will. I enjoyed all the characters & got to like them all.

Wow! I loved this more than I thought possible!

HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!!

This book was so much more than I expected, especially with characters that are so well known. I FREAKING LOVED IT!! Adding Ari to the mix... perfection!

I enjoyed the fact that it’s slow burn as it really allowed me to get to know the characters and make the relationships more believable.

PLUS!! The series are audiobooks which takes it to a whole new level!! As the female is perfect for Ari and the male narrator... oh my gosh his tone makes me need to change my panties and take a cold shower!! (Sorry... tmi... but oh my his voice).

Meh???

Paid a credit for this book as a filler until the next installment of a series pops up and I have mixed feelings. I found it interesting but slow 🐌. The narrators did a great job. Dual narration is the best. I was upset how quickly it ended, on a cliffhanger, but still not super excited for part 2. I am however gonna continue it just to kill time but again wasn't that amazing.

eh

idk if it was the narrator or the plot or what but I really struggled to stay focused and finish it. I think it's probably good for teens/ya on the younger side or if you aren't a picky lil brat like me. I think it has potential to be a favorite for others, just not my cup of tea. But still give it a shot! You can always return it if you're not happy haha

Book 1

I found myself dozing off. It may be that I just finished Lexi Blake’s Thieves Series, which just became my absolute favorite series ever. I do believe this series will get better so I am going on to book two.

Amazing story of mythology meets fiction

An amazing fiction of Norse Gods. Action, adventure, and some romance. Everyone struggling in their own way but all coming together for a greater purpose. Narrorators were amazing as well. I dont normally like multi POV audiobooks but this was done so seamlessly it was amazing. The snarky humor of the story was just enough to go along with the serious situations and deep moments of tortured memories and heartbreaking decisions. The way the author paired Loki, Thor, Hod and Baldr was absolutely brilliant, and I applaud the use of actual mythological blood ties and family relations of the Gods rather than the current weller known ones of movies, my inner history buff and inner Pagan is very happy. I highly recommend this book to all who love Norse mythology, adventure, kick butt heroines and just enough romance to make you want more!

Wow, just WOW!

An amazing story criteria in my opinion is: 1. The ability to suck you in, 2. The ability to keep you guessing 3. The ability make you feel like you are apart of it.
Eva you have done all those things with this book, I loved it. I love being able to get in my car or at work and get lost in your story and the world's you have created. Thank you x

Great Story, Poor Narrator

I loved this book, so was interested to hear the audio version. Sadly, it didn’t work for me. The female narrator was fine, but the man... good grief. Never have the Norse gods sounded so American! Bizarre and I couldn’t do it. Returned.

Awesome!

This is the second time I have listened to this as an audiobook and it is still amazing. I thought I would leave a review for it this time, so here it is. Just a warning, this book does end on a cliffhanger, so if you are someone who hates those, be sure to have access to the next book, I certainly can’t wait to read it with the amazing ending this book has. Aides Snow and Samantha Cook are two awesome narrators who put heaps of personality into the characters, there is even an amazing part in this audiobook where Samantha (as Aria) sings part of a song, and very nicely done. The romance in this is a slow burn reverse harem as far as I can tell, and it is most likely that it will stay that way throughout, so make sure you are ok with that before you read it. There are definitely no regrets after reading/listening to this book, I would definitely recommend it to anyone who loves this kind of genre. I loved this book!

A lot of promise but not much sizzle

This book looked like a fun little read with some sizzle for the ladies. It didn't really deliver that and left the reader hanging at the end which was pretty disappointing.

awesome

I've never listened to an audio book before and being a writer I wasn't sure if I would enjoy it but this was fantastic! I'm stuck in hospital with my arm bound and my neck post surgery and I needed a distraction from the pain. Eva's story is awesome in the written form, but this performance was enthralling. I'm off to listen to the second book which I haven't read yet, lol.

Boring and no chemistry

This was really boring with no depth . I really didn’t care about any of the characters. Will return
