Very fun read

I loved Cass and her boys. Some say Cass comes off like a brat and I get it.... but if you were locked in a cage without contact with anyone but your b**** ass mom who put you there then you may be a bit immature too! She does grow through out the book as she comes into all her powers and her 4 hot men are with her every step of the way. Rys and Lorken were my fav but they all have their moments. Absolutely love this book and highly recommend for a fun sexy read!💜💜💜💜

More of a young adult /juvenile porn plot, don't try to take it to seriously and you'll be entertained.

the worst FMC

this storyline would have probably been good if the FMC wasn't so immature, annoying, & irritating. how the FMC was written made listening to the complete set almost unbearable. she completely came off as a spoiled, entitled, brat instead of as a b@d@ss weapon.

Raunchy reverse harem novel but worth listening to

I dont know why people are complaining about the content of this book. If they had read the book details its clearly tells the book is explict. With this being said it was captivating listen from the first to the last book. I love reverse harem novels in boxed sets. Definitely worth the credit.

loved the book and the steamy scenes. I liked that I could see some things coming but others would catch you completely off guard.

A wild, fun, and sexy ride!

This is the second set of books I have listened to by Meg XueMei X. I was very happy to see the set as this saves tons of $.
As with the other books, I really enjoyed War of the Gods. Meg XueMei X's female characters are never meek, needy, or damsels in distress. I love that about her books.
Let me first write about the story. I loved it! Mythology, fantasy, and reality are weaved together to create an exciting world. I thoroughly enjoyed Cass's take on the Greek Gods. I have always wondered why no one ever called them as they are. Well, she did.
We started book 1 with an obnoxious, immature, juvenile Cass. This was to be expected due to her circumstances. Through the rest of the books, Cass grew up. Still a bit obnoxious but true to herself, her mates, and her commitments. She takes responsibility and ownership while enjoying her cakes. I love cake! Her genuine joy for the smallest of things made her personable.
This is a reverse harem book. Book 1 and 2 only had minimal sexual contact. Book 4 had the most. Even then, this was pretty mild compared to other similar books.
Narration: Victoria Mei also narrated XueMei X's other books. I read how displeased some listeners were with her. I disagree. Victoria Mei personified Cass perfectly. Combined with how Cass is and Victoria's own inflections, it was perfect. Now, I can certainly see how annoying she sounded several times. But, that is exactly how she's supposed to be.
Victoria did a superb job with the male narration. I never questioned who was who. And her British accent is... sexy!
Definitely a keeper!
