I never thought I'd be singing happy birthday to myself in a dungeon. And yet when a sinfully sexy demon crashes happy hour, that's exactly what happens. He’s known as the Lord of Chaos, and he’s mistaken me for my succubus doppelgänger.

Happy birthday to me.

When he tastes my blood, he finally understands I’m mortal. And I realize we have something in common: we both crave revenge. So we make a deal: I can stay in the forbidden city to hunt for my mom's killer. In return, I’ll help him get the vengeance he craves. I just have to pose as a sexy succubus. One problem—he's my number one suspect.

And that’s increasingly hard to remember as he teaches me my role: seduction. With each heated touch I drift further into peril. And if I fall under his seductive spell, death awaits me.

Featuring Laura C. Harris, Gabriel Michael, Nhea Durousseau, Shanta Parasuraman, Wyn Delano, Bradley Foster Smith, Colleen Delany, Daniel Llaca, Elena Anderson, James Konicek, Karen Novack, Ken Jackson, Matthew Pauli, Michael John Casey, Zeke Alton, Richard Rohan, Scott McCormick and Yasmin Tuazon.

Reseñas de la Crítica

"Laura C. Harris takes on the role of mortal Rowan--aka Mortana, the succubus--in this full-cast performance.... Listen carefully for sounds of beating wings interspersed with fire magic." (AudioFile)

The story is great but so much potential with who is narrating. I found her voice very monotone

Great story boring narrator

Worth the listen if you haven’t before, decent story, worth the time. Decent character development, world building, leaves you curious about the next book that I’m off to download.

Graphic Audio never disappoints

Blew Me Away – 10 Stars If I Could!
The City of Thorns GraphicAudio edition by C.N. Crawford was an incredible experience! This story is so different and so fantastic — I was hooked from the very beginning. If you love demon/mortal interactions, hidden identities, power struggles, and a slow burn romance with just the right amount of spice (🌶️🌶️🌶️), this is 100% for you.
The tension builds perfectly, and the full-cast performance made every moment feel alive. I loved how the mystery kept unfolding — there are still questions left by the end, and I’m dying to know more. The pacing, the atmosphere, the chemistry… all of it was on point.
Such a fantastic performance and a wildly addictive story. I seriously can’t recommend this enough!

Deals, Demons, and Dangerous Secrets

The concept of story is very intriguing, but the way that the story itself is executed, feels very rushed. In One chapter you could be talking about a trial or an event or act, that might feel like it should take a few chapters to complete, or the very least a chapter to get to but in the very next chapter it’s wrapping up completely.

It’s an interesting story, but it just feels rushed
