Books 1-3 in the hit Chrysalis Monster-Evolution LitRPG series are now available in this special bundle, filled with action, laughs, and army-building to the extreme!

Anthony has been reborn!

Placed into the remarkable game-like world of Pangera.

But something seems a little off... What's with these skills? Bite? Dig?

Wait....

He's been reborn as a WHAT?!

Follow Anthony as he attempts to adjust to his new life as an ant in his new Dungeon home. He'll have to learn how to survive, level-up, and grow both himself and his bite-sized colony into a force to be reckoned with.

About this Series: Jump into a rebirth story that mixes LitRPG and GameLit Elements with Monster Evolution, Levels, Stats, Skills, Magic, Power Progression, Kingdom Building, Party Building, Army Building, evolution, a monster MC, gigantic enemies (compared to Ant at least), and plenty of humor fitting for such a ludicrous premise.

I love the premise of the story, I love the world building, suspense, goals etc but the missed opportunities this story could have had but doesnt due to certain choices by the author are heartbreaking.

There have been a handful of chances throughout the 3 books where Anthony could have had such character growth & they are intentionally derailed for whatever reason. I think this is a problem easier to see having listened to these 3 books back to back.

The Ending of Book 3 could have been a really great moment but was ruined by the very thing that the MC thought was so disgusting. Gah. So so frustrated at it.

It is worth the read but the MC can be annoying at times which is fine & the plot armor gets pretty thick at times but overall it is enjoyable.

A love/hate relationship

I’ve learned in the past that most bundles for three or four books in one tend to not to be very good but when I saw that this book set was narrated by Jeff Hayes I jumped right on it, and was not disappointed at all. One problem a lot of little RPG struggle with is finding balance between overpowered character and something to actually challenges their character in this book, it takes that concept, and chunks it out the window, along with the maincharacter who is sent tumbling down into the abyss and is forced to struggle their way back up. not only an amazing voice acting but pretty decent humor. It’s one of those books that get you thinking of. What would I do if I was in the situation overall, I’m really excited to continue the series and I hope more people come to enjoy this book as I have.

Funny and exciting

I loved the manic energy. The author and narrator have created some prime content here!

I was a little disappointed how few of the ideas would get implemented he just doesn't follow through enough with his pets and family, doesn't do the things that are high priority, like making Tiny smarter or teaching his ant family the basics of what their class was designed for. I also had hoped the ants would give their dead to the humans, an dthe humans would make ant carapace armor which would act as a badge of their their ant fellowship.

Fingers crossed that some of these get fixed in the next entry.

Overall an interesting story and concept. The writing in the first two books is bogged down by repetitive grinding and eating, an obsession with the itchiness of evolution, and overall fairly low/no stakes with no real chance for the MC to lose and no long term plot or objectives being worked on. Mostly just “a thing happens then another thing happens”. However book 3 finally gets a stride, with building high stakes conflict, a compelling cast of side characters, and a rewarding and enthralling conclusion.

I don’t personally find the MC to be too likeable, he’s not particularly clever and just seems to grind his way to OP upgrades. It was good to finally see things that could challenge him in the 3rd book.

I would not recommend the series purchased as individual books, however if you get the box set and are down to grind through it to book 3, it has good payoff. I think I’ll give book 4 a shot, but it’s teetering on the edge for me.

I will say, I came here from Dungeon Crawler Carl because of Jeff Hayes, and his performance does not disappoint - although the cast is much smaller and doesn’t quite give him the same opportunities to shine as DCC.

Books 1+2 were slow, book 3 was great

I enjoyed the book and really like how the main character is not broken but keeps building on himself. How things are well done and easy to follow. My only gripe is I am partial to charactor building and feel like the books are leading up to some deep character story but had so much fighting to get out of the way. Over all I think too little is being charged for the book it's worth more than I paid for sure.

The voice acting and the book flow was great.

Hilarious, detailed and elaborate fight scenes, and the acting is immaculate. The group of voice actors are perfect.
