Will listen again- very relaxing

I grew up reading fables and moral-based stories, and now that I'm older learning these same type of stories from other cultures is even better.
The narrator's voice is calming after a long day. The only complaint is I wish there was a different way of separating the stories. It seems each rolls into the next. Perhaps a longer pause before the title?? Still, I love it. Five stars all the way!

Cool stories, but violent

Unique selection of folk stories and a good reader, but the stories are so interesting they aren’t especially relaxing. The stories also discuss a lot of violence (including infanticide and beheadings), so not for little kids.

Enchanting Stories

Beautifully read and each teaches a truth. Wish the current rulers would listen and learn as we should. Excellent but not read at bedtime though peaceful. They should be read and remembered.

Delightful collection

I liked that all these fables had a distinct message. I really appreciated that there was more than one story to listen to. Narrator was great and it was interesting to read stories from a culture different from my own.
