About the Creator and Performer

Sterling K. Brown is an actor with three Emmys and one Golden Globe award to his credit. A graduate of Stanford where he received a B.A. in acting, Brown went on to get his MFA at NYU. He is well known for his roles in The People v. O.J. Simpson, The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel, and This Is Us. He has a major role in the recently released film, American Fiction.

The story is beautiful but this is the voice of Sterling K.Brown that makes it a truly soothing experience. What a nice way to get immersed into the world of sweet dreams. Thank you so much for this and other Good Night stories exquisitely narrated by one of my favorite actors.

Sterling's silver tongue is so soothing that I fall asleep almost immediately. I started off trying to hear about this tree. Hah! I've been listening nightly for a week and I only know the old tree has leaves. I'm sleeping better than we've before. and should I wake in the middle of the night, I turn it back on and I'm right back to dreamland. It's wonderful !!

This actor is more than just an actor. His voice reminds me of a loving family member. He just has an authenticity that is not taught! Kudos to Sterling. On a side note I would love to have a job telling bedtime stories 😅

The Tree is such a lovely, soothing story. And Sterling K. Brown delivers it beautifully, with his rich, melodic tone. I slow it down to .8, just to make it a bit sleepier, but that’s personal preference.

I struggle to get to sleep, but I rarely make it to the end of any of Brown’s stories. My kids love them, too.

His voice is very calming and soothing. The way he tells the story makes you really see it in your mind’s eyes. I literally listen to him every night and try to get to the end of the story. I fall right off to sleep before the end of the story every night.
