Publisher's Summary

For small-town tattoo artist Levi Wells, his few forays into love have only brought him trouble. When trouble with a capital T came sashaying into town two years ago in the form of flamboyant young dancer Jay Owens, Levi becomes more determined than ever to stay away from anything remotely resembling a relationship. Especially one with someone so young and different than him.

Two years. That’s how long Jay has been trying to wear Levi down. But, Levi only sees Jay as a thorn in his side and balks at their differences every chance he gets. Luckily for them both, Jay isn’t going to let a little thing like Levi’s reluctance stand in the way of getting what he wants.

Levi is as stubborn as Jay is tenacious, and they find themselves at an impasse. When Jay inadvertently gets himself into an unnerving situation, Levi’s protective nature surges forth even as he berates his heart for getting involved. Will Levi stay focused on their differences and keep fighting his true feelings? Or will Jay finally burrow through Levi’s self-imposed walls? One thing is for sure, you can’t fight love.

Can’t Fight It is a male/male romance meant for ages 18+ due to language, themes, and adult scenes.

Can't Fight Love

Really love the second book in this series. The buildup from the first book got me excited to see how Levi eventually crumbles and gives in to Jay. It was long time coming but both guys deserve happiness and it was great. As always, the narrator did a wonderful job and love his voice. Great story with a great group of guys.

Great continuation

This is a great continuation of the series. I love that they didn't draw it our excessively since when we start they're already 2 years into the wait. I did appreciate it moved a little slower though. Everything was resolved a little to neatly for my tastes but it was ok. Narration was done well overall it's a fairly quick and enjoyable listen.

Age is nothing but a number

LOVE every word.... enjoyed reading the story of Levi and Jay.
Jay's character was hilarious at time.... his daddy comments was great.
He enjoyed edging on Levi, until he folded.
I think I will reread this whole series...
Thank you very much A.D. Ellis ,I love it and thank you Christopher for your wonderful narration...

Good Story!💜

I’m really enjoying the characters in this series. I was hoping for a little more of the banter between Levi & Jay like we saw in book 1, but it was still a great story. Emotional & heartfelt, sexy & romantic, drama & humor, this book has it all. The narration was fabulous. This is book 2 with an HEA and can be read as a standalone.
I recommend this book/series!

A Must Listen!

Listened to this book in one sitting, could not stop! I only gave this book a shot because of the narrator, who is one of the best I've ever heard. This book is sassy, sexy, interesting and delicious. Can't recommend enough! Definitely worth a credit. I think this book is better than the first in the series, though, the first is great also. Love, love, love!

A Love That's Worth the Wait

The playful, flirty banter between "BJ Boy" tattoo artist Levi and decade-younger dancer Jay that began in Book 1 is in full force here as the two embark on their love story. "Can't Fight It" is a sweet, low angst May/December romance - one that's been building for two years! - with two likeable characters, and learning about Jay's pre-BJ history added more depth to the story. (And good on Jay for finally calling out Levi on his hangups about their age difference because someone needed to!)

Narrator Christopher Solon provided distinct voices for all of the characters, and I was especially impressed with his age appropriate/younger sounding voice for Jay (which was also consistent with Book 1).

This story could be listened to as a standalone, but you'll get more of a lead-in to Jay and Levi's initial dynamic, as well as the bond between the BJ Boys, if you start with Book 1 ("Fight for It"). I'm looking forward to rounding out the BJ Boys series with Cody and Kennedy's story next.

I received this audiobook for free by request and provided this honest review voluntarily.

Jay is the Best

Another great story from AD Ellis. So happy to know Jays' story. Levi and Jay make the cutest couple. Christopher Solon did amazing work with Jay, Levi and friends. Although I read the series out of order, it can be, think the best would have been to follow the order. Series is a must listen and re-listening will happen.

This book was given to me for free at my request and I provided this voluntary review.

Very good!

This book was my favorite of the series. Jay was so over the top and adorable, Levi tried to be the tough guy, but definitely is a softy. The narrator was great again! I would definitely recommend this book.

Great story with an age gap

The older guy just can't fight the attraction however hard he tries and with the little cuty dancing round him he loses the fight. A lovely story A D Ellis.

So good

I loved this, the suspense and Levi trying to avoid his feelings. This was a very suspenseful and entertaining story with a lot of humour to keep things fun.

I again really enjoyed Christopher’s narration he is very good as distinguishing between the characters which really pushes the story to the next level

as good as the ebook

The story is always full stars, because if I wouldn't like the story as ebook, I wouldn't listen to the audiobook. I can't listen to an audiobook without knowing the book, that's not possible for me.

The performance from the narrator is also very important for me. I can't listen to a lot, because my English as a non-native-speaker isn't so perfect to follow a whole story over hours, when the narrator speaks too fast or too sloppy. Normally I have to SEE the person, who is talking to me in English. It took me a little bit, to come into the narrator, but at the end, it worked. I only have to take a few breaks between. I'm just not yet finish with the book, I’m over the half, but I listen enough to give a review.

PLEASE READ MY RATING SYSTEM!!!

To my ratings:

5* - very very good
it's like an A+

4* - very good and will be often re-listening
it's like an A

3* - it's more then a one-time-listening.
it's like a B

Jay is my favorite character in the series!

Jay is so lovely! Since book one with his nicknames for the BJ boys and his young savvy heart. He know what he wants and its Levi, older and protective and gorgeous. He had to work hard all his life and now for his love. I enjoyed their romance, Levi had to give in sometime and their banter is so cute. There’s also a stalker in town and poor Jay is the target so there’s a bit of suspense too.
