The final novel of the Demon Accords series:

The aliens won't give up and Hell wants its due. Having fought off the Vorsook multiple times, Earth's heroes are looking to end the war in a decisive way, while Hell's demons circle like sharks smelling blood in the water. One world facing off with an ancient interstellar species that has conquered almost five thousand planets and the Fallen Angels of Hell. But the defenders of this world are Chris Gordon, Declan O'Carroll, Tanya Demidova and Stacia Reynolds, the quantum super computer Omega. Who would you bet on? For the fans of the Demon Accords series, here is the end.

I was excited to discover another book in this series and grabbed it immediately. That said, I was a bit disappointed, as it felt shorter and somewhat rushed. I was a bit disappointed that James Patrick Cronin didn’t narrate this one, since he’s read nearly all the earlier entries. I understand a sequel series
will focus on the next generation, and I’m curious to see how the world-building is handled as I am given to understand that a major character featured in this Generations series comes from the planet Green Acres. I also wonder what roles the original characters will play in this new addition to the Demon Accords universe. How much power will Declan or Chris end up with? How many books might this series include? How many planets?
I hope this first installment, Expansion, doesn’t take too long to be recorded, ideally by the same narrator who handled the last novel in the original series. 🤞

Thoughts on an Ending

the story was not as great as the rest. It was good, but not great, but I also have to admit that it might have been the narration that would not let me get into the story. He wasnt bad, but he wasn't James Patrick Cornin. All the voices seemed wrong.

the Narrator ruined it for me

I have to say the narrator was a change but I enjoyed it. If you can listen to Alexa read a kindle book it’s a total improvement. I love the story and the fact it will continue with the next generation of ass kickers just makes me happy. I have enjoyed this series from the first recommendation. I’m a Dresden files girl. This book was recommended so I bought every book. At the time 1-7. It was amazing. I have bought every book since. When you’re a fan you love the story. Good or bad. I may not love everything but the overall tale does it for me. Storytelling is very complex. It has to be entertaining and believable in your mind. This series checked all the boxes for me. Great narration is a bonus but it’s not a game changer if the story is worthy. Thank you John Conroe for giving me years of entertainment. I look forward to more. No spoilers!! Buy the book!!! This series has the best fight scenes eva!!!!

Ahhh….😱 what an amazing ending!

As always John Conroe delivers a great story. My only complaint is that this and the last few books have been badly narrated. James Patrick Cronin did a wonderful job of narrating the majority of this series and now I can barely stand to listen to these great books being narrated by substandard narrators.

Great book but substandard narration.

This could have been one of those great series that comes out, that you go back to read every few years--could have been. The series started of with the formula, Chris, the god hammer, is OP, various governments and people can't believe it, and they must "destroy what they cannot control", rinse and repeat for different agencies, groups, etc.--but it was still good. Then introduce Declan, the super witch, who is OP, various governments + groups can't believe it, destroy what you can't control, etc. Rinse and repeat. But still it was good. But at a certain point--it makes no sense for people to keep doing the exact same thing. Then you have all the filler books, until we get to the last book: where Declan is OP, and Chris and friends treat him like Chris was treated, they can't believe it, rinse and repeat. They even managed to sneak in another president trying to destroy or control Chris--again! There is so much wrong with this book, that the good parts in there, make you wish for what could have been.

What Could Have Been....
