there was a lot going on in this book. it was my 2nd time listening and i think it was even better this time! i think i was still in the mindset of the Hellequin chronicles the last time i listened to this, so it seems to be sucking me in to Rurik’s world much more easily this go. i’m looking forward to remembering everything i’ve forgotten since last time and to book 4, which wasn’t available back then!
