Publisher's Summary

The bad boy. The f--k up. The thief. That was me. Once a king, now a wanderer. I'd thrown the best parts of me away over and over again. I was reckless. Still am. I'd been exiled. Twice. I did my time. I've cleaned up. Well, sort of. I got plans. Yeah, good ones. Then I ran into her. A bolt of lightning - startling, unsettling, breathtaking, out of reach. The woman I once scorned years ago is now the woman I can't live without. I need what I didn't think I'd ever need again. I want and want and want. Torture. She's the epicenter of the war I've triggered, of the battle in my rusted heart. I may be as reckless as I ever was, but I'm determined as f--k. To hell with it. I want it all.

Female narrator's reading was very annoying!

What did you love best about Blood & Rust?

I loved the book, but the female narrator really distracted me. Whenever she paused, there was an annoying breath she took. I'm surprised the producers/director didn't fix this.

Cat Porter is by far one of the best writers today

Would you consider the audio edition of Blood & Rust to be better than the print version?

Did not read print version. Loved the audio series

What other book might you compare Blood & Rust to and why?

Nine Minutes and Out of Time by Beth Flynn. The stories pull me in and hold my attention from beginning to end and leave me waiting for the next book.

Have you listened to any of Lidia Dornet and Aiden Snow ’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

First for both.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

This book is one that will keep you up all night listening.

Any additional comments?

Cat Porter is one of my absolute favorite writers. I look forward to each new book from her.

goes on & on & on

the other books in this series were great, but this one is way to much. first 1/2 drags on & is pretty boring and the rest is too hard to follow. there's just too many little stories inside one long story and its too much! if this was the 1rst in the series, wouldn't have listened to all of them
