I read this series and it's one of my favorite. It was great to be able to listen to it and I can't wait for the next one.

Sugar and spice..

Sugar and skulls is the first book in the Rebel skulls MC series by LM Terry. This is Jesse and Dirk’s story. This is a new to me author & therefore series as well. I was really impressed with the story. I enjoyed the characters and I’m interested to see what happens in the next book. I actually started this and finished this in like two days I think. I just couldn’t put it down once I started it. this is a dark romance, so be sure to check your trigger warnings. The FMC is bad ass! the MC is damaged, but overall it’s a really good story about found family and the healing power of love and not just romantic love. This book has dual narration. One thing I also enjoyed was the third wall breakage to it’s not some thing you see very often in books and it didn’t take me out of the story it worked with it.

Just be sure to check trigger warnings before reading. I think that those situations that are talked about in the book are handled delicately meaning they’re shown, but they’re not to in your face if that makes sense.

the detail allows you to be in the moment with the characters

I was able to feel the emotions with the characters. Each part was well written. The situations are plausible and very emotion filled. You can really hate the villans and root for the victims.

Loved reading this series and I can’t wait to be able to listen to them whenever I want.

Amazing!

This series is one of my favorites. I was so excited that the audio book finally came out. The narration was perfect. They did an excellent job on the sexy scenes! It had been a while since I last read the book and forgot how incredible this book is. I can't wait for Watercolor skulls!

Hidden Gem

This story was amazing ! This is a new author to me and I didn’t know what to expect . There are some tough topics in this book hence the trigger warning . It broke my heart to see what Jesse went through during her childhood . Then Dirk fixed her and put her back together again . The hero is 16 years older so this is an age gap , Mc romance with dark elements . Jesse has become my new favorite heroine . She was just kickass from the beginning . This author is one to watch . I can’t say enough good things about this story . It’s truly one of the best that I’ve read in years !

this was a great listen! I loved the story and the narrators did a great job bringing it to life!

Great job at capturing the emotions of this story

I have previously read this book so was excited to see it come to audio as it has become an easy way to "re-read" my favorite books. This was the first audiobook where even though I knew the story it still made me cry at one point simply because of how well the narrators brought the emotion to life. This story is full of tough subjects that can be emotional to read about, but our heroine's strength and perseverance was remarkable. It is an age gap romance. I hope we will get the other books in this series on audio, especially the story of our heroine's daughter. This author isn't afraid to write about real life subjects in a way that makes you feel all the emotions while reading, but end with inspiration and hope for overcoming these tough obstacles/situations.

Such an amazing story. Loved reading and then listening again. Can't wait for all the books to be on audible.
