An exciting listen, great narrator

Good story line, great character outline, good narrators voices. Well done if you ask me.

An incredible Nelson DeMille example!

I’ve read (audible…) practically every DeMille book. I drive over 100 miles a day and I’ve accumulated over 800 audible titles of all types, but DeMille’s are top of the charts! However, if he ever stops using Scott Brick as his narrator, I’ll quit Nelson DeMille. Scott Brick, while he is known as “The Magic Voice”, is truly that!!

Scary story . Well-written and excellently read

Great but scary story made me feel I was part of a possible current event. Descriptions of Berlin and dealing with its history were insightful and I feel spot on. And you got to love CWO Scott Brody and Maggie Taylor. The reading was also top-notch.

Great characters and story

I have always like Nelson DeMille’s wise guy characters. Brody says some outrageous things, but if he voiced all that he thought he would have been shot long ago. Very enjoyable listen.

I have read or listen to everyone of Nelson DeMille’s books! Are all wonderful, and this one is no exception!!

Another Great Listen

This book was a thriller to match most thrillers, it is not a book that will last the test of time. But if you are looking for a book that has a strong male lead, with some off color and bold language. If you are looking for a female character who can stand up to her macho male partner and still be admired by male readers, this a book for you. If you are offended by language that is a bit salty you may have some trouble with this one. The story was extremely well developed, I didn't guess the ending so it came as a surprise and I couldn't stop listening to the last hour. The narrator was excellent, he captured the tone of the book and made chapters that were somewhat dull remain intriguing. Thanks Nelson and Alex for staying true to a style of character that I have enjoyed for many years.
