Charlie Webb is a third rate lawyer who graduated from a third rate law-school and, because he couldn’t get hired by any of the major law firms, has opened his own law firm, where he gets by handling cases for dubious associates from his youth and some court appointed cases. Described as “a leaky boat floating down the stream of life,” Charlie has led unremarkable life, personally and professionally. Until he’s appointed to be the attorney for a decidedly crackpot artist who calls himself Guido Sabatini (born Lawrence Weiss).

Perfect Pace
Hope this is Book #1 of a series. I can't wait for Book # 2. Totally enjoyed every chapter. I hope Mr. Craven keeps the intrigue coming!

Finally a New Series
I clicked “buy now” w/o realizing this wasn’t the book I intended to buy. 5 minutes in, I was hooked. Originally I didn’t like the narrator’s laconic style but came to realize the almost deadpan reading is the way this guy actually talks. Listened constantly for two days.

Fearless warrior
This was my first time reading this authors, book, I enjoyed it from start to finish, plenty of action. Looking forward to reading more of his work would recommend this to friends.

Meh
3 stars for a lot of interesting facts and strategic tactical operations. Maybe I'm not the best judge though as Raylan Givens is the best (and my favorite) fictional US Marshal/ex-US Marshal.
