Great Story to Dive Into

This was a great bundle to get into. Paced well. Built interest and kept me wanting to get to the next chapter. Enjoyed the narrator voice choices. Had me laughing or talking out loud to the characters many times. Worth the credit. Thankful that this was a complete series and bundle so I could go on the journey uninterrupted.

So good I enjoyed these stories so much and was excited to listen to them. I was not disappointed John did a stunning job with the characters. It was amazing and brilliant. All four stories are in this boxset and they are all amazing from Talon and Collin to Jared and Silas all four will keep you entertained.

The narrator had to find their stride whilst reading

I usually DNF books where the narrator is hard to deal with but I had a good feeling. The narrator definitely got better throughout the books and I decided it wasn’t that big of a problem for me. The series is definitely weird with some very weird story lines but I’m always up for something different!

The book gets better as it goes

The book is very good, but skip chapter 3 , I would have turned it off but since chaps 1 and 2 were okay, I just moved to chapter 4. What a great strong story line and great imagery, the other after good also. I would recommend this book just for book 4. I would remove book 3 or re write it. 3 was all about very weak men ! It just did not fit the other books.

This is awful

I was so excited when I stumbled across this set but having listened to 18 chapters of the first book I thought my eyes might stay locked rolled to the back of my head if I continued. The main character is just so stupid and unlikable I couldn't root for him. He acts like a spoiled 12 year old child. I constantly found myself mentally re-writing the story as I listened so that he died. At one point he puts his whole family in danger by destroying the protective wards on the house, for some strange. Then, while pregnant, he goes to protect his family, that he put in danger in the first place, without a care for the baby. The last straw was him constantly saying "my little brother". Who talks like that? When you're an adult it's just my brother or actual use his name, Luke. Thank the gods for the Audible return policy!
