Wow, just wow!

What am intense and powerful story. Had me engrossed until they very last word. Pam Goodwin gets me every time.

Good book...but

I really like Pam Godwin books, but this one had way too words. I hate to admit this, but I skipped chapters towards the end and still understood what happened. But I will say you HAVE to listen to the first 30 chapters or so. Pam Godwin had me tangled up with intense feelings in the beginning of the book, but i started skipping about chapter 55ish or so. The last 3 chapters had me in sad & happy tears. If you like lots of words and a good story, this is for you!

Side note...will continue to read her other books, she is an amazing story teller!!!

Great story!!!

As always another winner!!!! Can’t get enough of Pam Godwin’s writing. Well written, love the progression of the story I really enjoy if song’s are added to set the scene.

Wow this is DARK

Pam Godwin is a fan freaking tactic author!!!! Her stories are written so well you feel like you are living alongside these characters. With that said…. This boook!!!! Woah! It’s so good but holy crap it’s dark. Charlie (FMC) lives through some horrific things!!! So be aware of that before you start! My jaw was on the floor pretty much from the first chapter to the last chapter! My only complaint is how the pov was written. I wish it had been duet narration. It was alittle hard to follow sometimes keeping track of all the names and who said what. But I recommend 100%!

Roller Coaster!

I adored Charliee and Jay's story and their struggle. I laughed and I cried. I wanted to tear off my skin sometimes. I wanted to stop to breathe sometimes, but I couldn't because I wanted to know what happened next. Read the trigger warnings before you dive into this one but if you do, I don't think you'll regret it. Beneath the Burn is a wild ride, of downs and ups and more downs and the struggles that come with facing addiction, trauma, and accepting love.

Loved every chapter!

It was gut wrenching at times but oh so worth the it! Narration was perfection!

I went in blind and wow this book is amazing!!
The rollercoaster Pam takes us on with Jay and Charlee lives.
The strength they both have is incredible. They are who each other need to overcome their horrible pasts.
The audio is fantastic and felt like I was hearing a movie in my mind.

HEA with pages of emotional damage! Love Pam Godwin’s books!!

I highly recommend reading this book! I highly recommend reading ALL of her books! This one kept me on the edge of my seat throughout and just like always this couple deserved the HEA they fought so hard to get!!!

AUDIOBOOK REVIEW:
Beneath the Burn audiobook is duet style and narrated by Lisa Zimmerman and Kale Williams. These two are top tier narratorswhom I have heard narrate many books now and they do an absolutely phenomenal job narrating this book, too! Their skill level is at the top and they pour in the emotion, chemistry andfeeling into each character. It is 16 hours long and you will completely lose yourself within it, be sad when it ends but so happy with the ending!

BRIEF RUNDOWN:
Beneath the burn is the story of Charlee and Jay. They meet at random one night when he comes in for a tattoo and she is the artist. They both have horrible demons from their past that makes them seem broken, and I mean it when I say they have some serious mental issues from trauma they’ve endured. Charlee has an evil, very rich & powerful, deranged “owner” who kidnaps her & treats her like his s3x sl@ve. It is written in extreme detail the physical, emotional and s3xual abuse that isand was done to her. She escaped him once, can she escape him again? Jay is the lead singer in an up and coming rock band. Following his childhood trauma, he has an extreme aversion to being touched by literally anyone, so he hides out in his hotel room and when on stage he is off in the shadows while he sings. After the night they met, it is three years before they see each other again. During that time, they find themselves thinking and even obsessing about the other. When they reunite, the connection they share helps them help each other to begin to heal from all of their trauma. Finding each other ends up feeling like fate because once they are together, they refuse to be apart ever again.
