great listen

a good narrator can make the difference. the story is already great and I love the humor. but the narrator is amazing 👏

Could put it down!!

I loved everything about this. The obsessive psycho men and the not so innocent shy FMC. It is original witty and hot. I was laughing in one chapter and melting in the next. Totally worth the listen.

This story drops you in and says buckle up. I enjoyed the plot the narrator, and the suspense.

Honestly idrk. I feel like I’ve got whiplash

Apologies for how this is gonna come across, but you know that viral video of that white guy singing “give a n***a a break” … that’s how it felt reading this. I honestly felt bad for Blair. This entire book was spent with her getting gaslit into sex and emotions and then her internal battle with liking a killer and his Dom.

At first I was like Oliver is crazy, but he’s okay…. then I got to the end of the book and idk, his going away gift left me thinking that he might actually be crazier than I thought.

Rook is honestly really annoying. It really doesn’t feel like he likes her at all. There are moments when he’s gentle, but they really don’t feel believable. It feels like he’s forcing himself to have emotions which is actually pretty annoying to read. It feels like he feels he’s too grown for them, which makes me wish he would just leave.

I can say for the first time, I actually enjoyed the FMC way more than the 2 MMCs. I felt like she was the only consistent one and I needed that as an anchor to get through this. It wasn’t a bad read, I just kind of gave me whiplash.

Simple break down:
Blair: I like her
Oliver: I underestimated his crazy
Rook: really just isn’t believable to me

Mmm me likey. The readers voice is so pleasing and makes listening fun! I have a physical and ebook of this series so having the audio is awesome!

like the story but kind of hate the main female character

the story is pretty unique and well written but the main character is super frustrating and really mean to these guys she keeps using, because she's not supposed to like them. like, her whole character is nervous, terrified, and constantly surprised.

Definitely in my top 5

Narration was great, story line was great. Gets you very invested and cannot wait to listen to the next book

overall I liked the book, however I often found myself annoyed at the main character and her stupid decisions and lack of forethought

I love AJ Merlin audio books - I read the book first of course - but I’d love the whole series in audio book! Still waiting for vile boys 2 and now Pretty Little killer. PLEEEASE?!?!?

Oliver has made my list... a trubdie hard OMG where is book 2 what happens with the professor? you know it's remind me of lights out but by the release this came first so I can say this inspired the book.
