Publisher's summary

Shortly after a horrible scolding by her aunt, Jem stares moodily into the fire. Suddenly, she notices that a bit of soot has fallen from the side of the chimney, revealing an incredibly white brick. Before she knows it, Jem finds herself on an imaginative journey where toys can talk, babies do the scolding, and Santa Claus shows you his wonderful workshop.

Surprised

Wish I could find this in real book. Was not expecting some things. Pleasantly surprised.

Enjoyable quick listen

B. J. Harrison does a fine job with this story. I found the story to be well written and enjoyable for a quick listen and break from most of the longer books I listen to.
