Sweet romance

Fallon and Remi finding each other again is so sweet! The story shows us how misinterpretations and old wounds influence our experience and the stories we create. Another great story by Monica MacCallan and great narration by Lori Prince.

The blonde & brunette

Cute story, and overall I liked it, but what is with calling the The Blonde and The Brunette through the entire book? Frankly it was annoying as all hell.
And why is there always a double standard in lesbian romances? Why is one always expected to tell the other one first? And why does the other one get away with saying, “you should have known”?
I DID enjoy the book, I guess I e just been listening to too much lesbian drama lately. lol
Monica always tells a good story and Lori is excellent as always.

Brilliant

Per usual, this story is amazing! This author is one of the best I've come across. This is the 5th book of hers that I've read and it's just incredible. I love it!!

Good but…

I’ve really started to love Monica McCallans’ books, but this one was a struggle. The constant mentioning of hair color was honestly annoying. There are a myriad of ways to describe characters especially when the hair color means nothing in the grand scheme of things.

Great audiobook

This was a very cute story about second chances at first love. Lori Prince did an amazing job now narrating this book. She really brought those feelings to life when listening to the book. My only struggle through this book was the constant saying of the brunette, and the blonde, why would you not just say Remi and Fallon. Other than that it was a great book.

This was a cute story, it was well written, excellent MC narration was as always excellent and it well supported the book.

Life Decisions

Monica McCallan is good on how life decisions evolve from high school to a comfortable middle age. Fallon is a fascinating character who draws Remy out of her comfortable but shallow and empty Bay Area success. Sister Claire is an additional sweet treat. It begins slowly and with some confusion over events but credibly stumbles toward resolution with some great dialogue brought vividly to life by Lori Prince. A powerful but soothing read (listen in this case). Enjoy.

Blonde and Brunette!!!

The book was pretty good besides the author constantly referring to the main characters and the blonde or the brunette. It was really weird and I’ve never read anything like it. As much as she said it, I couldn’t always remember which was which. By the end of it I was just laughing but it was very strange. If the reviews worry you I wouldn’t recommend it, because it’s literally in 85% of the book.

This is my second time listening to this story!

Love the individual characters as well as how dynamic their relationship is over the period of time in the story. Lori Prince narration is great as always!
