Unique Take on Fake Relationship

I enjoyed how this relationship was initiated. It had very interesting family and personal dynamics- I loved the wedding speeches- I hope there is a sequel where Syds best friend finds love..

Loved the ending.

I don't think I've ever listened to a Monica McCallan before. Her name comes up frequently in recommendations but nothing hooked my interest enough to give it a go until this one. I really enjoyed it! The character development is intriguing, kept me listening. The set up is, of course, a bit far fetched, but it's a fauxmance story so of course it is. I read some complaints about the ending in the reviews but I thought it was hilarious, and took nothing away from the story that had been developed to that point.

Mccallan & Prince Do it again

Great book! I love the well rounded characters and just the pure love they have for each other. Would definitely listen to it again. The epilog was so cute.

More excellence from Monica McCallan!

I adored this book, just like all of Monica McCallan's stories. I listened via audio, and Lori Prince did a fabulous job narrating as always. Lots of depth to the characters, unique story line, with Sydney the retired tennis pro first fake dating, then falling for her ex-boyfriend's sister Reese. Both Sydney and Reese were extremely likeable and good people, doing all the right things for everyone except monster brother Grant and unethical dad Tripp. Good balance of sweet and spice, highly recommended!!!

Love with Wit and Humor

This turned out to be one of my most favorite books. It is a great balance of banter, love, and humor. I seriously enjoyed it. And to have Lori Prince narrate it is the icing on the sapphic cake!

Such Fun Characters

Loved this. I flew through this book. The characters are really fun and Lori Prince does a great job of bringing them to life and getting those nuances across the page. Sydney comes off as the pretty girl that is super nice and you can’t help but love her. Reese is calm, collected and charming in her quietness. Easy to read and follow along and a great story overall. It was worth the wait.
