Slow burn into a huge firework

I think this is by far the best Monica McCallan book I’ve read yet! The way she builds her characters is phenomenal! The development all throughout the book just pulls you in more and more. Lori Prince is the icing on the cake for it! Amazing.

Delightful

I thought this would be one of those typical romance tropes of enemies to lovers. It was so much more though. The main couple relationship grows and develops naturally although they do have help with weather and an abandoned puppy. Also I love when Lori Prince narrates. She’s a favorite!

I love happy endings

Loved the novel from start to finish. I felt very identified with Brooke. Lori Prince did great as well

Slowwwwww burn but worth the wait!!

I love the build up. It made me want to keep listening, even when I was frustrated the characters were so stubborn

Months wasted

A great story, but by not admitting feelings, months of wanting, longing and torture were endured. At least in the end, they will have years.
