I love the bad guy.

He’s just so much… SMARTER than the good guy! The laughs are constant in this book and the relationships are very human and real. Love this series and can’t wait for the next!

Big oof for the truncated ending of the book. And the amount of exp MC gets for completing the quest? Really? Love this series but some of the decisions this author makes realllly make me shake my damn head. Also author, it wouldn't kill you to write a book longer than 8 or so hours at a time. The end of this book was shyte. Could've been better had it not been so truncated. Still, look forward to the rest of the series. Which hopefully will be a bit longer and less random.

Why are the boats so short you can put 3 of them together and it be worth the money that I paid for 1 the story itself i'd like but come on this is just robbery

Great story have followed good guys now bad guys

I love the experience of the story, the characters and appreciate so much content. Although, for the love of all things, please think about adding in less filler banter, and the main character Jocelyn back-and-forth on every decision to such a frustrating degree of almost quit, listening on multiple occasions. And just progress the narrative, which could be done so easily. talented writer I couldn’t see is adding unnecessary filler or using programmed help but I’m at a loss as to why else so much unnecessary dialogue and frustrating ignorance takes place.
Is this a young adult series? Nooo so much action and violence so noooo, then why in the seven hells is there not one romantic seen even obtusely written about does not take place in any of the 20 books I have purchased at 10-15$ a pop. It’s as if expectations lead to intentionally ignoring what the reader/listener would enjoy experiencing.

I suppose it would make sense if a large portion of the story was , besides the great ideas and arcs that slowly drag by, is due to “help”. Of the non human variety.

I rarely leave reviews but man I love this story and it could be soooo much better with half the banter and more substance. Well more than it already has.
So many reviews say great things only to rag on a series. This is not that. I honestly feel it would make the story and experience so much more fulfilling crating a much more loyal fan base.
Because after 3/4ths of the next book in they have accomplished nothing, and the main character has yet to grasp his family jewels, stop complaining and take control of his own destiny. Accepting being spoken down to and coddled while he allows himself to be completely self absorbed to the peril of all around him.

Action packed and loads of fun!’

I love the character of Clyde Hatchet (with one “t” now) even more than I did already! The new additions to his party are fun too. Looking forward to more development of those characters as well.

Same Clyde different Hatchet lmao. Great listen. The adventure continues. The entire time I’m wondering if he looks for trouble or does he just have bad luck. Great characters
