Best and worst ending ever. Thanks for the warning on epilogue 2.
This is a love story that will stay with me and be revisited many times.

Amazing as always!

LLV did it again!!! Spoiler alert: The last 10 minutes of this book, make sure you are sitting down and NOT driving. I had to pull into a rest area to finish and calm down. Beautifully written book as always and of course the narrators brought this book alive. You won't regret listening...until the last 10 minutes.

I've always been a Lani Lynn Vale fan, but With Spite, might have just taken the cake for me.

I absolutely loved Hux and Bernice, but what made this even more special was the connection to some of my favorite characters and worlds from past books—*Uncertain Saints*, the Dixie Wardens, Benton, Louisiana, and characters I've loved for YEARS. It felt like visiting old friends while falling in love with two new ones.

And listening to this one? I was completely hooked.

But that ending???

JESUSSSSS. 😭❤️

That ending got me. After all the love, laughter, craziness, familiar faces, and memories this book brought back, I finished it thinking about my own life.

I hope when my story is finished, I can say that I **loved deeply, lived fully, and lived with no regrets.**

That's what I took away from *With Spite*.

Lani Lynn Vale, I've always been a fan, but OMG—you really took the cake with this one. ❤️

Never disappointed. I have all of your books and have read them all more than once. I love how you have intertwined them into one big family. Although, you give us a HEA in them, you put enough real life in them to touch our hearts I have read thousands of books and loved and hated a lot of them but there is something that makes my heart happy when I see you have a new one out
