started ok then turned meh

started ok, story started cool. stone smashing and all. . . then the romance and whole sex chapters made me turn it off.

Author lost the plot

I tried to finish but couldn’t. The author had a good plot in the beginning but as the other reviewer said this turned into a horny love story for no reason. After the plot ran away, there were a lot of really spicy scenes that were whole chapters where later the author tries his best to convince the reader that no spice was delivered. I as the reader am supposed to believe there was only technical spice. The plot claims this is because for some unknown reason clean spice jars are really special which as a grown woman - along with all other grown women on planet earth who enjoy spicy dishes - I in no way believe. It seemed the real reason is the author wanted to write more of these undelivered spice chapters. Chapters which are not needed. After the third missed delivery I stopped reading which is unfortunate because the author actually is talented. The narrator was very good and did his best with what he had.
