A missing scientist, a lost bioweapon, and just one flimsy lead…Billy Firebrand and his dysfunctional crew of mercenaries are on the trail of the greatest mystery they've ever faced. Only when they arrive on the ocean world of Calypso looking for answers, they uncover nothing but more questions.

Now, with his entire crew trapped in a giant luxury submarine fifty kilometers under the ocean, hunted by a mysterious hacker, a vengeful mercenary colonel, and a giant sea monster, all Billy can do is keep his friends together and try not to die.

Fans of The Worst Ship in the Fleet and Rogue Agent will love this new series full of swashbuckling adventure, witty banter, and plenty of sci-fi fun. Tag along with this crew of has-beens as they redefine what it means to be heroes (and not always in a good way). Set in the fan-favorite universe of Dumb Luck and Dead Heroes, you don't need to have listened to that series to fully enjoy this action-packed series.

there were several areas were either the reader or the recording repeated themselves, and not like the story required them too. easily fixable for next book. it's a fun A-Team style diversion, and great if you're waiting for the next dumb luck and dead heroes book.

Great, but editing a bit rushed
