Truly believe the author has created a great attention grabbing book the whole series comes together so smoothly and keeps you involved constantly in the storyline can't wait to see the next Totally excellent

Another nail-biting addition to the series

Book 4 hikes the exhilaration factor up a notch where the Ascendant, the series McGuffin, is finally captured by the behemoth Maker ship striking fear amongst the other empires which quickly ignites into what would analogically compare to a slugfest between two monster-Maker starcraft carriers and their fighters in an attempt to seize control of the Ascendant. All the while, Evan leaves the ship in a last ditch cockamamie plan to save control of the ship Earth side. The plan is so convoluted, it just might work!

Daniel Wisniewski's performance is sill excellent until hot-head Evan decides to bark again.

I really enjoy this series but I really wanted to space Evan because of his principles. For the author and Evan there are no civilians on a warship. Evan's refusal to kill the woman he encounter after getting on the Bastion made no sense at all. So he is will to allow the bad guys to keep his ship because his principles and almost dies.
