Unofficially, intel revealed it was a human-made poison engineered to disorient and knock its victims unconscious, with aftereffects that mimicked the human flu. If the humans were responsible, they had a reason to target supernaturals, and none of those reasons were good.

Between risky finals, multiple growing relationships, political tensions, and a poison that clearly held ulterior motives, the first year at Apex Elite Academy might have killed me.

But honestly?

I wouldn't have had it any other way.

Does Not Disappint

I feel like I am always waiting for more of Lyra's books. I love the universe she has created. Her narrator choices do not miss. Every one of her series feels like they have the perfect set of narrators to express and bring those sets of characters to life. Apex elite is no different. Rune is so much fun. And I just absolutely love how unhinged and obssesed Zuko and Slater are. Those two gremlins just feed of each others energy and its so entertaining. I can not wait for more of these to come out.

FINALLY the audiobooks are coming out!!!! YAASSSS!!! Best part more than one narrator. The narrators are amazing, no whiney voices, and exactly what I pictured the characters to sound like. REALLY wish the rest of the audiobooks would be released IMMEDIATELY, the month is going to drag by. : (
