She was Olympus's Queen. Its sacrifice. Its savior. Its destruction.

Long ago, Circe was Hermes's entire heart. The two women lived on the outskirts of Olympian society, content with a quiet life away from the spotlight. Then Circe caught the eye of Zeus . . . and was forced into a marriage that would take her freedom, her future, and in the end, her life. In the wake of the tragedy, gossip swirled about the woman Zeus married and (allegedly) murdered . . . but in time, everyone forgot about beautiful, tragic Circe.

Everyone but Hermes, who vowed on that day to bring Olympus to its knees.

Now, fifteen years later, a new Zeus rules the city, a new Hades protects his people, a new hope dawns . . . and Hermes has begun to think there may be things about Olympus worth saving. With Atalanta by her side—and slowly rebuilding her heart—Hermes may finally be ready to set aside her fury and seek the city's rebirth instead of its total annihilation. But there is a beautiful devil on Hermes' other shoulder: a devil who rose, blood-soaked, from where Zeus left her for dead years ago. A devil who has waited all this time to have her revenge.

And no matter their past, no matter the desperate love they once shared, no matter the complicated triad forming between the three women, Circe will not rest until all of Olympus lays shattered at her feet . . . and the gods help anyone who gets in her way.

A scorchingly hot modern retelling of Hermes and Atalanta and Circe.

Unfortunately, I kept getting POV’s confused because Zara Hampton-Brown was the female voice in 8 of the other 9 books. So having her be Circe threw me off. I expected her to be Hermes and couldn’t keep up.

Otherwise, I loved it and am glad to re-read the whole series start to finish

Fantastic finale

I like the fact that you find out what Circe was really doing but other than that, the book made little to no sense, why did it start with Hecate being on the 13's side or what she made you believe anyway. Where was the actual chemistry between Hecate, Circe, and Atalanta? I felt no chemistry between them, and it kind of felt like convince. I won't lie i haven't liked Hecate since Radiant Sin, when you found out she was behind it, but I more wanted the story to get to Hades and them, what happened with them?!?!?! Are they safe?, Are they happy?, Did Eurdyice stay with Charon?, Where is Eros and Psyche?, What happened with Apollo and Cassandra?, What happened with Perseus and Callisto?. I feel that the book left on a cliffhanger because you don't know happened with your favorite couples.

There are spoilers in this review!!!!!Why don't you tell us what happened with the others?

Meh ending to the series. Not gripping as previous books. Disappointed with the conclusion and where all characters ended up.

Meh

The conclusion of the whole story in it itself is disappointing. The villain barely had any consequences for their actions and had a happily ever after. The fact that the 13 has been dismantled and we don’t know what happens to anyone besides Poseidon because of book 8 is lackluster. The book felt rushed, and the plot was just flat. It was nice that we saw some of the other characters from previous books with the fact that we don’t know what happens to them after this book or get any mention of where they might go is disappointing. The only reason I was able to finish this book was because it was on audio and the voice actors did a good job. Other than that I don’t think I’ll be able to reread this book.

Disappointing

I strongly disliked the performance of Wood in the audio book. The falsetto voice was so distracting that I couldn’t get into the book at all and she narrated most of it. Disappointed would be an understatement in the overall conclusion of this series. I sincerely hope this isn’t the actual finale and the threads all come together to tie up in a better book.

Meh book, confusing story line. Missing endings for the rest of the characters.
