Perfect Novella!!!

Incredible side character story. Perfect addition to an fantastic series.

Narration was good, had a bit of a hard time differentiating characters, the female narrator doesn’t change character voices of female characters when having conversations.

Hilarious!!

The main character and ger wolf have me cracking up!! Her wolf especially!! I am glad I started thus series, now I am hooked!!!

Great Story!

I went into this a bit skeptical considering we basically knew all that had happened, or at least the jist of it, through the first three books of the series. I was concerned that we had a book rehashing everything we already knew but with more details and I didn't feel the need for those nitty gritty details. I am so grateful I read this book because it is not anything I thought it would be. It was so much better!! It starts right when the women have woken up from being drugged by the production company and dropped off on the mountain, just as their men are about to find them. The female actor who voices Fallon does a fabulous job! Her snark and "don't give me sh-t" vibe in her voice is perfect for the character! The voice actor for John is great, too, until he does his wolf. The wolf sounds pretty pathetic in my mind. That's not an alpha voice at all. How is it that a cat who isn't an alpha sounds more ALPHA than the male wolf shifter? I don't understand it. It's the same actor that voiced Ranger and his wolf and there was no doubt about the alpha in those two. I wonder if the actor was simply trying to make a distinction between the different characters. Regardless, John's wolf does not sound great. It's not horrible, just not what one would expect an alpha wolf to sound like. The story is great. Do not miss it. The previous books are a very small part in this book. This is not a retelling of what we already know. It's all new material. Definitely worth reading! Or listening to!
